So I was asked the other night to participate in a flash fiction competition over the prompt, “Smart people fucking with each other.” I had 1 hour to write a 1000 word short story based on the topic. Why thank you. The ending was rushed for sure but that was because I crept up on 1000 words a lot faster than I hoped and I wasn’t allowed to edit.
